Clerk Treasurer
Denese is currently serving her 4th term as the Town Clerk-Treasurer. The primary function of the clerk-treasurer, a four year elected official, is to serve as the fiscal officer of the Town of Osceola. The clerk-treasurer processes the receipts and expenditures of all town monies, makes investments on behalf of the town, prescribes the payroll for the town, determines the manner in which vendors, officers and employees are paid and manages all town financial accounts. The clerk-treasurer also prepares the annual budget estimates of revenues and expenditures, financial statements and the proposed tax rate. The clerk-treasurer serves as the clerk of the town council by preparing agendas, minutes and recording proceedings. The clerk-treasurer also maintains and manages custody of all records, including ordinances and resolutions.
