The Osceola Street Department has 2 full time employees, one being the Street Supervisor, who are responsible for a variety of street maintenance functions as well as other day to day activities. Some of the duties include street paving, filling pot holes and sign maintenance. The Street Department may be called upon to remove road kill, fallen branches blocking the street and other objects including emergency tree and brush removal. Additionally, the Street Department is responsible for maintaining the Town Park, Town easements and drywells. In the fall the street department offers leaf pick up at no cost to Town residents. During the winter months, the Department is responsible for snow removal and salting to ensure the streets are clean and safe for Town citizens.
